January Favourites

I'd firstly like to apologise for the horrendous picture and lighting....the lens on my camera has broken so I've been having to use my Iphone to take blog pictures on, so until I get my camera fixed please bare with!!

Anyway....
Honestly, I am so glad January is over! I find it such a gloomy (is that even a word?!) month full of left over chocolate which you can't eat because it's time to detox and the realisation that Christmas is official over.

However, I have been loving 5 products this month so today I thought I'd share with you my January favourites!

1) Champneys Spa Treatment Hand and Nail Cream
Around this time of the year, my skin gets incredibly dry so finding a really good, moisturising hand cream is so important. This product has literally been either on my hands or in my bag for pretty much the whole of this month. I adore this hand and nail cream so much - it has such a lovely textures, it's not too thick but not too wet, it smells delicious and if it was a good I probably would eat it! It's also a really lovely size, so it fits pretty anywhere; there's nothing worse than having a massive tube of hand and nail cream, how inconvenient!? All in all, it's a brilliant hand and nail cream and I've really seen a difference in the 'softness' of my hands.

2)REN Evercalm Gentle Cleansing Milk
I'm not going to say a huge amount about this product very recently I did a whole review on the Evercalm gift set which you can see here. Very briefly though, it a really gentle and nourishing cleanser that successfully removes any left over makeup, dirt or pollution from my skin and it really leave my skin soft and clean.

3)Rimmel London Lipstick in Nude Pink
I love wearing reds and plum coloured lip shades around this of the year, but I've really been loving this nude pinky lip. It's a not super pink but it's also not foundation lips nude, so it's a perfect shade for those days where you want something on your lips but not anything too bold or glam. I also find that all Rimmel London lipsticks last for sooo long! An absolute favourite.

4)Orly Nail Varnish in Luxe
Although the picture doesn't make it look like it, this nail varnish is so shimmery and glittery! It's been either on my nails on its own, or on top of another nail varnish but either way it's such a pretty varnish. It's not your typical gold as it isn't translucent, it's quite yellowy-browny, but regardless it's a long-lasting colour.

5)Flora by Gucci This perfume isn't your typical 'winter' perfume as it's quite summery (hence it's name 'flora') but I can't resist using it right now because it smells heavenly! I love the packaging as well but that isn't the only reason why I use it....The scent isn't too strong, it's very long-lasting and I always get complemented whenever I wear this perfume. Definitely recommend for spring/summer.

Hope you enjoyed this little read!

A Misguided Wishlist

Recently, I have been LOVING Missguided...so much so I put 'loving' in capitals to emphases my love a bit more! I had so much fun putting together my Asos Wishlist that I decided to do the same for Missguided.

I am loving trousers at the moment. I think they're a much comfortable and different alternative to jeans so below are my 3 top picks from the website!

Pinstripe Navy Cigarette Trousers - £30
Burgundy Floral Tapped Trousers - £10
Dusky Pink Front Pleat Trousers - £12

Co-ords are so on trend at the moment and I can just tell that when the weather gets a little bit nicer, all I'll be wearing is co-ords! They're just so easy to throw on and effortlessly look good! I am adoring these 3 at the moment and can't wait to get my hands on them.

Monochrome Geostripe Coord (Top £10.99)
Floral Brocade Coord (Top £7 Skirt £24)

What wishlist would not include shoes?! Missguided have such a wide variety of shoes that fit with lots of different styles and the shoes that are on my wishlist are definitely my favourite items on there, especially the pointed stiletto heels that I've been for find for ages!

Pink and White Chunky Chelsea Boots - £ 19.99
Faux Suede Stiletto Heel Ankle Boots - £45
Pointed Tassel Loafers - £35

Lastly are a few accessorise Missguided are killing it with their clutch bag range, if I could I'd probably buy them all but my purse would not enjoy that. I love the two that I've added to my wishlist, especially the black faux fur one which also has a chain attached so it's basically a 2-in-1 bag, right?! I'm also in love with the necklace, the cool and icy tones really fit in with this time of the year..it's just beautiful necklace.

Metallic Pink Flawless Clutch - £18
Faux Fur Clutch with Chain - £20

REN Evercalm Skincare Review

I've wanted to try out a few products from REN skincare for ages now and all I hear is good reviews after good reviews so it's been tempting me for long while. Very luckily enough, I got given mini samples of the Evercalm range, for sensitive skin, for Christmas and so far I have been loving it. I think these mini samples are so handy to use because it means that you don't have to go out and spend rather a lot on something you don't 100% know will work for your skin.

I'll speak briefly about each product but as a whole I'm super impressed with how well it's gone down with my skin. My skin can be really sensitive but because this gift set is the sensitive one, its really kept my skin calmed and hydrated.

First up is the Gentle Cleansing Milk. This product has been my life-saver and I'll definitely be buying the big 'bottle' after this one has run out. I use this when I've just taken my make up off to make sure any dirt or makeup remaining on my skin wiped away. After washing it off with water, it leaves my skin feeling so soothed and I'm constantly touching my face because it's just so soft! I have to say, this is my favourite product from the whole set.

Next is the Global Protection Day Cream which is a morning/day moisturiser. Not only does it make my skin incredibly soft but it also hydrates throughout the day and not just after I've applied which is something I use to struggle quite a bit before using this. It also contains omega 3 and 7 which is so good for helping reduce skin inflammation & irritation; it does exactly this, so if you're someone who suffers with inflammation or irritation then I'd really recommend trying this out.

This is the Revitalising Night Cream which I apply just before going to bed and it keeps my skin hydrated and nourished throughout the night. Although it does sooth my skin, I feel like it dries up really quickly compared to the day cream but regardless it does a good job.

Last but not least is Omega 3 Optimum Skin Oil. This oil is suppose to strengthen the skin, re-energise skin cells and overall just boosts the appearance of the skin. I was a bit apprehensive about using this because my skin can get quite oily sometimes, but it's really working wonders on my face. It smells amazing and leaves my skin looking amazing so it's basically an amazing product!

I hope you enjoyed this little review and found it useful in some way or another.

A Lovely Little Place | The Yorkshire Dales

Ever since I can remember, my family and I would always venture off to the Yorkshire Dales, which is a national park in the south of England. I have always loved it up there - the villages, the people, the views and it will forever be a place where I'll visit even when I'm old and grey.

I wanted to share with you one of my lovely little places and even if the countryside isn't exactly you're idea of heaven, I hope the pictures do it justice.
